Unfortunately tragedy struck the Monaghan Road Races when top riders Gary Dynes and Andrew Mc Clean were fatally injured during the 250cc race.
This video includes a tribute to them and the other riders who lost their lives road racing in 2000.

as each rider tries for the lucrative fastest lap.
